Devil’s Thumb Ranch is also renowned for its Winter Park snowshoe trails, which span over the course of twenty kilometers and even include dog-friendly trails. Day passes include the use of the Pavilion Ice Rink, and kids ages five and under are admitted complimentary.

Finally, if you already have snowshoes or have acquired rental snowshoes from one of the many local rental shops in the area, you can go snowshoeing for free at Granby Ranch. A word of caution: the snowshoeing trails here are not patrolled. If you use the lift, there’s a nominal fee.
