Traveling from Winter Park, you’ll find Cozens Ranch House by heading northwest on Highway 40, towards Fraser, and taking the entrance for Rendezvous Discover Center. Cozens Ranch House showcases exhibits on a wide range of historical facets associated with life in Fraser Valley during the late 1800s. Delve into the realities of pioneers’ challenging travels over Berthoud Pass. Pioneer ranching comes to life in restored ranch complex buildings based on-site. Explore stagecoach travel at the first stage stop on the western side of Berthoud Pass. Plenty of things to do in Winter Park!

Dive into the history and culture of the Ute people, one of the many Native American tribes that once dwelled in the Middle Park and High Country regions until being ousted by the pioneer movement. And learn about the family behind Cozens Ranch House, former Central City sheriff and Fraser postmaster William Zane Cozens, his wife Mary York Cozens, and their daughters, who sheltered pioneers as they made their journey over the pass.

The Cozens Ranch House is open from 10:00am to 4:00pm on Wednesday through Saturday. Admission is priced at $3.00 for students, $4.00 for seniors, and $5.00, making an outing to Cozens Ranch House affordable for even the strictest vacation budget. Children under the age of five years are admitted for free, as are members. Memberships are available for as little as $35.00.
