When it comes time to start planning the vacation to end all vacations in the beauty of our Rocky Mountain village of Winter Park, choosing our Lakota Summit Luxury Villa #527, offering 6 magnificent bedrooms, 5.5 spacious and spa-like baths and room enough for as many as 18 people to live together in peace and harmony. Luxury materials throughout include hardwood flooring, granite countertops, and high end fixtures, electronics, and appliances that will enhance your vacation experience. And because a party of 18 can get to be a bit too much people-y at times, everyone has their own space to retreat to at the end of the day, spaces in which the comforts include 4 KING BEDS, 1 QUEEN BED, 2 FULL BEDS, 4 TWIN BEDS AND A PACK AND PLAY PORTABLE CRIB.

Perched at the top of a hill with Winter Park Ski Resort spread out behind, #527 presents a welcoming presence to weary travelers who have finally reached their journey’s destination point. Enter through the front of the house and step into a space that blends contemporary with modern conveniences and all the comforts of home. Vaulted ceilings and floor to ceiling windows keep the open concept light and bright, the wood floors with radiant in floor heating provide a luxurious pathway to the living room where a comfortable sofa and sitting area takes up residence. An impressive stone fireplace at the center, and a 65-inch smart television mounted with a soundbar, creates for a relaxing space with impeccable views. A desk area, next to the fireplace in the main living room, complete with monitor to hook up your laptop, for those moments when you cannot completely stay away from work or school. A sitting area beside, invites you to sink into its depths and lose yourself in the words on the pages of the latest bestseller.

The dining room table is a large piece of furniture, with a hidden leaf, that can seat 6-8 people. A comfortable space where you can spend long portions of your vacation hours playing board games, devouring meals, or laughing at old stories you had not thought of in years, told by cousins you have not seen in as long.

The kitchen of #527 is a chef’s dream, featuring custom cabinetry, granite countertops, and a breakfast bar at the island that seats four more guests. Name brand appliances are fronted by delicate glass pendant lamps hanging above the island, keeping the room bright and cozy, after the sun goes down.
The main floor has a beautifully decorated Master Bedroom King Suite, with a beautiful seating area, and a 55” HD TV to enjoy a movie before bed. En-suite is a bathroom, complete with a walk-in shower, and towel warmer for those cold Winter days.

Going downstairs to the 2nd level, you enter an incredible game/movie room. Complete with a luxurious couch you can sink into after a long day on the mountain, curled up in front of a cozy fire. This space has an 85” HD TV, complete with surround sound for an epic movie night. A minibar area to mix things up, and a table that seats up to 4 people is the perfect place for a board game, or game of Darts located right next to, on the wall. The main focal point in this space is the Arcade, where you will find over 11,000 of some of the most popular and oldest arcade games, ever created.

The first of two master suites (this home is ideal for multiple families traveling together) both with king beds. The first suite is a spacious room in which the king bed features a 55-inch HD TV, and comfortable seating area. Fine hotel quality toiletries are provided for the guest’s use, and will be found sitting on all vanities. The second master suite is a private sunken king suite, offering a hidden space, to relax and unwind after a long day. Walk down a small set of stairs into your hidden corner of the house, complete with king bed, and a 55” HD TV. En-suite you find your own private bathroom accompanied with a walk-in shower. Down the hall you will find the third bedroom, a comfortable Queen bedroom featuring a premium mattress, and a 55” HD TV. Down the hallway you will find an incredibly large full bathroom, with both a shower and a bathtub combo.

The second level of the home also offers a door with a surprise, leading down to a third floor, with even more bedding options! This level is also where you will find the bunk room, this one featuring two Double beds and four twin over twin bunk beds. Adult siblings will enjoy taking a step back in time and sharing this space which offers everything you need for a good night’s sleep, including a 55” HD TV, bean bags, a Teepee to hide out in, and access to a shared full bath with a tub shower combo, shared with the last bedroom on this floor. Walk into a cozy space where you find the last and final bedroom, a king bed with a tranquil ambience that promises good dreams to all who sleep here, complete with a 55” HD TV.

A laundry room with full-sized front load washer and dryer, cabinets, and a bench placed against one wall for easy boot removal is elegant enough to give you a pleasant surprise. The two-car garage is where bikes are stored. The garage comes compete with ski storage, an awesome boot dryer for long days on the ski hill, and an extra refrigerator.

Outside, there are many options for enjoying the tranquility of Winter Park throughout the seasons. Multiple levels of decks provide additional seating and dining spaces, a barbecue gas grill, a hot tub that bubbles merrily upon one of the decks. Cushioned lounge chairs surround a gas firepit, a generously sized outdoor patio table complete, where happy memories will be made, while you stare out onto the breathtaking landscape of our favorite Ski Resort.

Many of the properties in the Winter Park area do not have A/C because of the cooler climate. The resort base does close during the off seasons between the 3rd week in April to the middle of June and the beginning of October to the middle of November, but the town is still open.
