This vacation home has one of the best locations available in the popular Rendezvous neighborhood, which is only a short 5-minute drive away from Winter Park Resort with a FREE shuttle available just down the street. The property is also a short 10 minute walk into Downtown Winter Park. The new resort base village includes the lifts for skiing/boarding/mountain biking, snow tubing, hiking, ice skating, shopping, dining, scheduled entertainment, and other resort attractions including several summer activities. Just down the street is the Grand Park Rec Center with multiple swimming pools, a waterslide, full gym with indoor track, a huge rock climbing wall, gymnasium, and children's playground (please note this is offsite). The Foundry is next door to the rec center with a bowling alley, movie theater, and brick oven pizza bar. This villa also provides walkout access to miles of neighborhood trails for hiking and mountain biking including a trout pond and children's playground.
This welcoming home is very "family friendly" with several upgraded features that other rentals in the area don't offer, including a completely equipped chef's kitchen featuring high end appliances, the living room has luxurious furniture and a loft with extra bedding, and a mounted HD TV to stream your favorite online apps including Netflix, You Tube and Hulu. Many of the properties in the Winter Park area do not have A/C because of the cooler climate. The resort base does close during the off seasons between the 3rd week in April to the middle of June and the beginning of October to the middle of November, but the town is still open. There is parking for a max of 2 vehicles, 1 assigned space in front of the garage (guests do not get garage access), and another vehicle can park in the community overflow lot on a first come first serve basis. THIS PROPERTY DOES ALLOW AUTHORIZED DOGS ONLY. THE PET FEE IS $29 NIGHTLY PER PET WITH A 2 PET MAX (NO EXCEPTIONS). Reservations with pets are not allowed for stays longer than 14 days.
