Walk just down the street to enjoy fantastic mountain restaurants, shopping, night life, concerts and events at Rendezvous Event Center at Hideaway Park, and trail systems for hiking and biking. Winter Park Resort is only 5 minutes away and the resort shuttle will drop you off right in the middle of the resort base village which includes the lifts for skiing/boarding/mountain biking, snow tubing, hiking, ice skating, shopping, dining, scheduled entertainment, and other attractions including several summer activities. The swimming pool and gym (pictured, and off site) are just down the street at the Grand Park Rec Center with multiple swimming pools, a waterslide, full gym with indoor track, huge rock-climbing wall, gymnasium, and children's playground. The Foundry is next door to the Rec Center with a bowling alley, movie theater and brick oven pizza bar.

The resort base does close during the off seasons between the 3rd week in April to the middle of June and the beginning of October to the middle of November, but the town is still open. THIS PROPERTY DOES NOT ALLOW PETS (NO EXCEPTIONS). There is parking for 3 vehicles at the property (1 in garage and 2 in community parking areas out front on a first come first serve basis with plenty of overflow spots in the immediate area).
