First on our list is the Fraser River Beer Company in Fraser, Colorado. This exciting and eclectic brewery is full of good vibes, featuring a large selection of brewed beers, wines, spirits, and non-alcoholic drinks. You Can also get a few snacks here that will help soak up some of the alcohol and keep you going all day long. Pair any one of the appetizers with the infamous AlpenGlow Ale or the Mom, Honey Beer! Pair one of Shreddy’s Tacos with the craft beers for a filling and refusing lunch with your pals.
Big Trout Brewing
Another fan favorite for locals and tourists alike is Big Trout Brewing Company, a famous brewery that won the 2023 Colorado State Fair Colorado Beer Competition with its new ales, stouts, IPAs, pale ales, and lagers. We love heading here and sitting under the lights at Cooper Creek Square to chat with our friends, play a board game, and listen to live music. Big Trout uses a unique and incredible way of brewing beer, known as the High-Efficiency Brewing System, that helps reduce waste and increases extraction, helping boost the taste of each pour of beer. It is no wonder that this brewery has won multiple awards, such as 2022 Best in Grand Best Beers on Tap and the Silver Medal for their Alpine Lake IPA!
We recommend getting one of their shared dishes to split with the table like the pretzels with beer cheese to split with a lager, bruschetta with diced tomatoes, mozzarella, and fresh basil to have with a nice and light cider, or the Buffalo Chicken tater skins with buffalo chicken dip, melted cheese, bacon, and your choice of dip. Talk about the best way to spend a post-hike afternoon!
Camber Brewing Company
Suppose you are in the mood to go to another brewery during your stay in Colorado. In that case, we can’t recommend anywhere more than the Chamber Brewing Company in Fraser, CO. This mountain-side brewing company offers food trucks for you to pair with any type of beer, an ever-rotating tap list that offers a wide range of brews for you and your pals, and an informative hop intensity scale that can provide you with educational information on the beers on the extensive tap list.

If you are coming to Fraser in the upcoming months, we can’t recommend the 4th Annual Fraser Valley Oktoberfest Hop Crawler event enough, with event tickets for just $35 to sample numerous beers at breweries around the area. You can also head to Camber Brewing any Tuesday to color and have some adult fun with your pals!
Hideaway Park Brewery
One of the top five breweries in Winter Park is Hideaway Park Brewery, a brewery that really reminds you of being high up on the mountain, skiing down a white ski slope with your best mates, or trying to reach the top of the mountain with your hiking shoes on and snapping a few pics of the beautiful landscape. If you are on the way to Fraser, check out the current tap list to see what you are in the mood for. We love the Rec Therapy for a Hazy IPA that is refreshing on a hot day. If you would rather have a creamy and stout beer for a cold evening, the Skate Juice Malt Liquor, All Day Cream American Cream beer, or the Dry Hopped Cream Ale is the best bet.
