Feel the Rush of Snowmobiling in Winter Park
Winter Park’s snowmobiling terrain is predominantly located in the Arapaho National Forest, where snowmobiling trails take riders above the tree line for panoramic views of the Continental Divide and Colorado’s high country.
Grand Adventures offers Winter Park snowmobile tours and rentals across the street from Winter Park Resort; it’s very convenient to get to from our condos in the Winter Park Resort complex, such as this beautiful luxury condo! The company’s tours take you and your guests to locations like Fraser Valley and the Continental Divide on one and two hour tours, while unguided snowmobile rentals are available in two- and four-hour allotments.
Tours of Fraser Valley, including the Family Tour and the Trailblazers Tour, range from$30.00 to $60.00 per passenger and from $85.00 to $105.00 per driver with Grand Adventures. The Continental Divide Tour costs $60.00 per passenger and $125.00 per driver, with options for longer tours for $75.00 per passenger and $200.00 per driver. Additionally, Grand Adventures also offers intermediate and advanced Winter Park snowmobile tours for those who want to ski or snowboard on backcountry trails for $245.00 per driver, with a minimum of four snowmobiles and a total tour length of four hours. Special discounts are also available for groups, but not over the holiday season.
Unguided rental prices range from $20.00 for five laps (about half an hour) on a mini snowmobile for children ages four to twelve years to$245.00 for a tandem trail touring snowmobile four-hour rental.
Colorado Adventure Park is another Winter Park, Colorado snowmobiling destination that is designed just for kids. Snowscoots, as the park calls them, are available for kids who are under five feet tall and weigh ninety pounds or less. Kids ages six and older can ride the park’s Polaris 120s along a groomed meadow track between 10:00am and 6:00pm. Tickets are not available online, but can be added to your tubing ticket price in-person at the park.
