One of Winter Park’s Best Family Wintertime Destinations
Fraser Tubing Hill is a lift-serviced snow tubing hill close to Winter Park where you and your guests can spend hours of fun sledding in the snow without having to tire yourselves out by constantly trekking uphill with a snow tube. Just sit back, relax, and soak up the beautiful mountain scenery as the lift pulls you back uphill for another exhilarating ride down.
Fraser Tubing Hill is open to the public all winter long, with daily hours from 10:00am to 10:00pm. Reservations aren’t required to go tubing down the hill, though tube rentals, specials, and group discounts are all available. Tubes can be rented for $20.00 for an hour or $25.00 for an hour and a half. Children must be at least three years old to ride in a tube, with children ages three to six years required to ride with an adult. Children between the ages of seven and seventeen years may ride alone, provided someone over the age of eighteen signs a liability waiver. Helmets are also encouraged.
Parents may watch their children go tubing without having a tubing rental themselves, since Fraser Tubing Hill has seating available for such purposes. Keep an eye on your kids from nearby picnic tables, inside of the lodge, or on the deck of the lodge.
Unfortunately, you’re not allowed to bring your own snow tube or sled to Fraser Tubing Hill. However, tube rental is included in the price of your admission, and renting on-site saves you and your guests from having to pack bulky gear into your car.
