There is free resort shuttle stop nearby, however you can walk to the slopes in about 7 minutes should you choose to. After an invigorating day of winter skiing, or summer mountain biking, return to view all the nature in the surrounding area anytime of the year from the huge river patio and double decks.

The chalet is a convenient spot to take the family no matter the ages since walking to the resort is a mellow five-minute walk from this exquisite property, which includes the lifts for skiing/boarding/mountain biking, snow tubing, hiking, ice skating, shopping, dining, and scheduled entertainment to name a few. The town of Winter Park is only a 2-minute drive or FREE shuttle away, with additional mountain restaurants, shopping, nightlife and various scheduled events and activities in the Town's Rendezvous amphitheater.

The property provides, walkout access to the Winter Park hiking and biking trail network throughout the area, including a beautiful trail along the river. The Grand Park Rec Center is only 5 minutes away which includes multiple swimming pools, waterslide, full gym and indoor track, huge rock climbing wall, gymnasium and a children's playground. The popular recreational areas of Grand Lake and Rocky Mountain National Park are only a 30 minute drive, making for an exceptional rocky mountain accommodation
