Offering 2 spacious and tranquil bedrooms, 2.5 fully equipped bathrooms, and a unique surprise in the form of a bunk nook in the main hall, #5 packs a lot of luxuries in its compact 1225 square feet. Come stay where the mountains peek in the windows and the comforts make you feel at home, and as you explore our favorite hometown, you can retreat to your own space; #5 ensures that every guest has a place to call their own, including a KING BED, 1 QUEEN BED, 2 TWIN BEDS, A QUEEN SLEEPER SOFA AND A PACK AND PLAY PORTABLE CRIB. PLEASE NOTE: The units in this building are located on the second floor and there is a set of stairs to maneuver inside the residence but the building does not have an elevator.
Many mountain condos and homes offer up a cabin or lodge décor that never fails to please but #5 has its own unique and modern style. Radiant in-floor heating keeps the wood flooring in this property warm and cozy, leading guests towards the first space in the open concept floor plan. The living room provides a welcoming ambience, and its crisp white walls provide a gallery style backdrop for the queen sleeper sofa, comfortable chairs, and the fireplace with its 50-inch Smart TV resting on its wood mantle. Sliding glass doors keep the room light and bright, leading out to a balcony that looks over the community and provides extra seating and dining spaces and a propane grill destined to thrill the chief griller in your family.
Although we started our tour with the living room, it is the kitchen you will come across first, a room that is the center of all that is delicious and located just inside the entryway. This bright white space contains upgraded appliances in stainless steel, including a gas range that will bring a tear to the eye of all cooks everywhere, white cabinets that nearly reach up to the ceiling, and white stone countertops that cover the expanse of the cabinetry. A breakfast bar fronted with three wood and iron barstools provides a place for online schooling or a place to sit and chat with the cook while three Edison style pendant lights keep the area bright.
The lighting in the dining area differs from other Hideaway Station lofts, featuring a large glass globe hanging over a sleek wood table surrounded by six comfortable chairs. A generously sized window looks out over the community and the mountains that peek over the rooftops in the back drops and although this is an open concept room, its position, tucked away between the back of the living room and a flight of stairs gives it a cozy feeling of semi-privacy.
A powder room on this main level eliminates the need to run up the stairs every time the facilities are needed, offering a single vanity, industrial style lights, and crisp white paint on the walls that helps keep the smaller space feel larger. Also offering a stackable washer and dryer behind sliding closet doors and the aforementioned bunk nook that is guaranteed to be the center of sibling camaraderie, secrets, and uncontained giggles.
The bedrooms (with the exception of the bunk nook) are all on the second floor of #5, including the first of two master suites. A king bed with iron frame anchors the space in the first master suite, a tranquil room that features a 40-inch Smart TV and a large window that offers unobstructed views of the Colorado landscape; this room peeks out over the rooftops of neighboring homes, ensuring privacy and breathtaking sights! Furry pillows, a geometric patterned area rug, and a whimsical portrait of a longhorn steer adds character to the space and the ensuite bath brings added convenience with its single vanity and walk-in glass doored shower.
The second master bedroom contains a queen bed, more amazing views, and a camp theme in the form of modern prints that espouse the joys of camping life hanging over the bed. Also offering a 40-inch Smart TV and access to the final bath, this room is a bastion of convenience and tranquility. The attached bath is a carbon copy of the first master bath, offering a single vanity and walk-in glass doored shower. Both bathrooms offer a convenient selection of fine hotel quality toiletries, perfect for those who have forgotten their own.
One of our favorite parts of condo life is the access to community amenities, something that Hideaway Station has in abundance. A clubhouse seating area, heated underground parking, and a cute but totally necessary dog washing station are just the start of all the extras we provide. A 30 person hot tub that sits out under the massive Colorado sky gives guests the opportunity to sit, simmer, and soothe aching muscles. Storage rooms to hold your skis and your bikes, keyless entry to avoid having to carry around a card or key that could be lost on the slopes, and high-speed wireless internet keeps guest connected 24/7. A personal “concierge” in the form of Amazon Alexa can be found in every unit, including #5, and locally roasted coffee will prove to be your newest obsession.

The resort base does close during the off seasons between the 3rd week in April to the middle of June and the beginning of October to the middle of November, but the town is still open.
