Step into a space that invites all who enter to relax and be comfortable, as wood floors, oversized windows, and high ceilings add charm to its footprint. The open concept floor plan of #207 keeps no secrets, revealing all its treasures at first glance. A large entryway gives guests a place to leave their boots and hang their winter garb as they prepare to explore the home they will call their own for the next week or so of their lives. A living room is at the center of the space, offering crisp white walls that keep the room bright, a stone fireplace surrounded by built-in bookshelves (also painted a bright white) and casually elegant furnishings that are welcoming and comfortable. French doors lead out to a private balcony which offers a barbecue grill and some of the most incredible views ever experienced and windows that surround the open floor plan ensure there is no bad place to sit, just spots where the views serve as a constant reminder of the beauty of Winter Park! #207 is a premium corner unit and as such, the balcony is more spacious and the views are even better! The queen sofa bed is one secret this space offers, hiding out in plain sight, while a state-of-the-art flat-screen television hangs over the fireplace, providing entertainment to all and perhaps a way to help restless sleepers who have chosen the sofa bed for their place to dream, quiet their brains.
The kitchen is a favorite spot of almost everyone you meet and ours is no exception. The long galley style format allows for multiple chefs to do their magic in a room where custom cabinetry, white stone countertops, and an expansive breakfast bar fronted with three leather and fabric barstools is destined to be the primary hangout space. Pendant lamps hang over the breakfast bar, ensuring there is always enough light and high end appliances in stainless steel, including a gas range, help make ordinary kitchen chores more fun! A desk, located just off the entry between the kitchen and living room is a great space for youngsters who still have classes to keep up to do their work, out in the open so moms or dads can keep an eye on their progress.
The dining room, while still open to the rest of the space, is tucked away in a corner, surrounded by windows to keep it light and providing seating for six with chairs that are wood, yet cushioned for your comfort at its sleekly modern wood table that anchors the room. Designed for more than dining, this is the room where laughter will be heard, stories will be told, and board games found on the shelves of the living room bookshelf will be played. Because of its semi-private space, it can also be used as an impromptu office space when important Zoom meetings have to be attended; high-speed wireless internet will help keep the meeting as glitch free as possible and the views visible from the windows at your back will be the envy of all who are stuck back at the office.
The master suite of #207 offers a peaceful and Zen place to retreat to at the end of every day. A queen bed with high wood headboard, colorful art, and soft warm linens is placed in front of a generously sized windows that lets in light and views. Window coverings allow guests to close out that light on mornings they want to sleep late and a private bathroom offering a tiled walk-in shower comes supplied with quality sample sized toiletries for your convenience.
The second guest room also offers a queen bed and an extra feeling of peace that emanates from the portrait of a mature tree that hangs above its wooden headboard. A table lamp with an Edison style lightbulb provides a touch of industrial style to the place as soft linens keep sleepers warm, even as the snow falls heavily outside the generous window that provides more incredible views. This room shares the main bath which offers another tiled walk-in shower.
A closet located just inside the entryway offers a very useful surprise, a stackable washer and dryer that allows you pack less and travel light, because practicality matters and who knows? The resort base does close during the off seasons between the 3rd week in April to the middle of June and the beginning of October to the middle of November, but the town is still open. THIS PROPERTY DOES ALLOW AUTHORIZED DOGS ONLY. THE PET FEE IS $29 NIGHTLY PER PET WITH A 2 PET MAX (NO EXCEPTIONS). Reservations with pets are not allowed for stays longer than 14 days.
