Nestled atop a mountain backing up to the Arapahoe National Forest, Modern Mountain Top Luxury Chalet is a wood and stone structure built in a modern architectural style and surrounded by beautiful landscape. Be greeted with newer landscaping that is in-tune with the natural surroundings and approach the covered stone patio at the front of the home. Once you’re settled, venture out back. An outdoor hot tub off the living area will sooth tired and cramped muscles after a long day of adventure. Sit out on the patio or huddle around the fire pit in Adirondack-style chairs as you watch the sun set over the mountains. Enjoy a meal on the built-in Charbroil gas grill. A lower terrace area features two outdoor lounge chairs for a different view of the Colorado landscape.
Interior Amenities at This Winter Park Vacation Home
Enter into luxury. An understated entryway offers the feeling of relaxation the moment you walk in. Either direction you choose to turn from the entry leads to even more luxury and relaxation. Turn right and head toward the living area. A small counter with storage above and below is the perfect setting for a snack platter or drinks everyone can access after a long day of adventure. For your convenience, a half bath is located near the entry way. Head into the open living area. Settle in on the large couch or one of the matching chairs and enjoy a fire in the gas fireplace or watch the sun set over the mountains through the wall of windows. A glass door off the living area offers access to the outdoor living space.
When your stomach starts to rumble, prepare a meal in the open kitchen. Stainless steel appliances blend nicely into the décor of gray and cabinetry with silver accents. Two kitchen islands as well as plenty of granite counter space offer endless amounts of prep space for a large group meal. The large island holds the Wolf range as well as storage and prep space along with a raised bar with seating for six. A secondary island boasts a prep sink and storage along with butcher block counter. Prepare the alcoholic beverage of your choice at the nearby wet bar with storage for all the necessities including wine racks. Enjoy the meal in the dining area with seating for six and brightened by the view through a large window. A smaller table with seating for four is located on the other side of the room.
If you’re looking for a quiet space to read, watch a show or movie on the flat screen TV, or just spend time away from the larger group, a den just off the living area provides a comfortable couch and entertainment system while giving you an encompassing view of the surrounding woods and distant mountains through windows on each wall. If you’re looking for fun without going out on the town, spend some time in the attached garage with gaming area. Choose from pool, foosball, and more, or take a seat on the comfortable couch and watch the action.
When it’s time to wind down, take a nap, or get a good night’s sleep before another eventful day, take your choice of private bedrooms. The master suite is located on the first floor. Fall into the king bed for a good night’s sleep and wake to the sun rising over the mountains. A door provides private access to the outdoor living space. Enjoy the light and warmth of a fire in the two-way gas fireplace which can be seen from the bedroom and bathroom. Pamper yourself as you get ready for another fun-filled day. An expansive area holds his and hers vanities on opposite sides of the room, divided by a wall of built-in cabinets and drawers. Enjoy the view as you relax in the jetted tub or take a shower in the luxury shower with bench and frameless glass. A large master closet provides all the storage space you’ll need – for the things you brought with you and all the extra souvenirs you’ll take home with you. The laundry room with counter space for folding and a sink for rinsing is located off the vanity area.
The other bedroom on the first floor resides on the other side of the main entry. Two sets of twin-over-twin bunks share the space. Take the stairs to the second floor where you’ll find three more bedrooms and a den. The den at the top of the stairs includes a wall-mounted flat screen TV, comfortable couch, and wood coffee table. When the show is over, turn your attention to the trees and mountains outside. Two bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and one with a full bed, are linked by a Jack-and-Jill style ¾ bathroom. The final bedroom is outfitted as a second master and includes a king size sleigh bed and full bath with double-sink vanity and tub/shower combo. There truly is a place for everyone!
