We’re grateful to live in Winter Park year-round. No matter the time of year, there’s always plenty to do. And since vacations here such as luxury cabins in Colorado are available for all budgets, it’s easy to see how you can splash on a vacation and get your money’s worth in entertainment, thrills, and adventure.

Holiday Events

Nothing says fun like a holiday event or two. But since you’re splurging, why not enjoy all the holiday events that coincide with your vacation? Winter Park is famous for its year-round events, so whenever you land in the town, there’s bound to be something going on, from fireworks to torchlight parades. Happy hours and trivia nights are common as well, as many bars and restaurants have fixed weekly nights for them.

Music Events

While many local concerts are free, annual music events attract big names in the world of music. Getting a ticket to one of these concerts might not be easy, but they’re well worth it. The Campfire Music Series is not to be missed, though. Every Wednesday between 4 and 5 pm, there’s always a campfire at the Village gazebo and local talents belt it out to the delight of the audience. Other music events include Mountaintop Music Series, Open Mic Night, Live Music among others.

Fine Dining

With everything from gourmet food and exotic cuisine to casual dining, Winter Park is a foodie’s paradise. You have over 60 restaurants to choose from. If you want to try Asian cuisine, many restaurants here cater to Asian flavors. Ranches also open their doors and offer an authentic American dining experience that you won’t get elsewhere.

Colorado Trip Packages

History in Winter Park is more than just a few old buildings. It’s rich, layered, and continues to influence the daily life and cultural scene around here. One of the top places to visit is the Cozens Ranch Museum. This was the first ranch and stagehouse in the Fraser Valley. Pioneer Village Museum has some of the tools early inhabitants of Grand County used in their daily lives, along with pioneer clothes and historic artifacts. Heritage Park Museum is a collection of six historic buildings that each tells part of the story of the area.
