Elegant Winter Park Cabins with Rustic Charm
The classic log cabin and wooden exteriors of our Winter Park cabins in Colorado set the stage for a relaxing stay in the middle of the forests and mountains surrounding Winter Park, invoking the image of old-fashioned, family, rustic cabin rentals in Colorado. Wraparound decks feature panoramic open-air views of the surrounding landscape, allowing you and your guests to gaze out at the snow-blanketed mountainsides or the lush greenery of summer.
Inside of our Winter Park cabins, accents of knotty pine and woodsy décor make these immense floor plans feel homey and comfortable, despite their size and open layout. Enormous living rooms with high-quality furnishings serve as gathering places for fun conversations, cozying up next to the fireplace, taking in the visual beauty of Winter Park from wide windows, and watching movies on the flat-screen television. Additional downtime entertainment can be enjoyed at our Colorado cabin rentals with hot tubs and other private amenities, like game rooms equipped with their own television and table games like foosball, pools and hot tubs, home theater rooms, and more.
Massive gourmet kitchens outfitted with huge granite countertops and state of the art appliances give you and your guests the option of dining in if you choose, whether you opt to whip up a meal for your guests from scratch or reheat your leftovers from one of Winter Park’s amazing local restaurants close by.
After a long day of exploring the many natural sights, outdoor activities, and fun attractions that Winter Park has to offer, the spacious bedrooms in our Winter Park cabins function as a haven for relaxation. Fall asleep to a show on the television or the peaceful silence of the forest.

Unlike the sled rides where trained Huskies take you down the winding trails in the woods, sleigh rides are drawn by horses. They’re more like an antique carriage from an overdramatic fairytale. The horses are well-mannered, and the driver is full of stories and anecdotes about the different landmarks you’ll see on your way. And because it might get chilly out in the open, you’re provided with a blanket to cover your legs. Just sit back and enjoy the beautiful scenery, the muted clip-clop of the horses’ hooves on the trail, and the stories of the driver. The tours are available for groups and private tours can be arranged as well. At the end of the tour, treat yourself to a hot toddy or hot chocolate to chase the chill away.
Winter Park is famous for its powdery snow and great slopes. One such slope that attracts skiers is Jones Pass Trailhead. It’s famous for the special type of skiing you can enjoy there called snowcat skiing. It’s different from downhill skiing, not just in the gear used, but because you’ll need a guide. Tours usually last for a whole day and you can enjoy anything between 7 and 12 runs in one tour. Both safety gear and guides are provided so you’ll know you’re in good hands. But which terrains are used have to do with the expertise of the group. Each group is as strong as its weakest skier. So a group of expert adventurers would mean the tour will take you to some really challenging terrains. Lunch and beer are offered as part of the package. Be sure to make the most of a stay in our Winter Park, Colorado cabin rentals by spending plenty of time on the slopes! Our ski-in/ski-0ut rentals will let you stay right on the mountain.
During your stay in one of our Winter Park cabins for rent you will learn where there’s snow, there’s a way to cross it that is both fun and challenging. Snowshoeing is one of those creative winter sports that must have been invented by someone who was bored with regular skiing. And we should be grateful for that person’s creativity, because now we can enjoy a new activity that is both unique and exciting at the same time! In Winter Park, you’re going to use the bike trails for this activity. Put on those special shoes and start your hike. If you prefer guided tours, there are many offered that will take you up the mountain. The Nordic centers also have their own snowshoe trails that you can explore. It’s like walking on snow but using a different pair of shoes. You can rent those snowshoes at the resort or Nordic centers or just bring your own.
