The views from the Elk Mountain Trail in nearby Hot Sulphur Springs are worth the extra strain on muscles not used to exertion. Pack water and snacks, throw on your most comfortable walking shoes, and take US 40E to begin your exciting free adventure. Leashed pets are allowed on this 3.5-mile trail that leads you to stunning views of the Colorado countryside.

Cooper Creek Square, located at47 Cooper Creek Way in Winter Park, is THE place to go for free winter activities. Their summer concert series, occurring every Friday from 6-8 PM from June 23rd to September 1st, has been a tradition for years. Playing every music type from Americana to jazz and everything in between, the mixture of sweet music and the cool night air will relax you even more than the free admission!
