Skiing

There are many ski resorts and slopes to keep you busy this Christmas. Ride the chair lift to the top of the mountain together and ski down as many times as you can. If it’s been a while since you’ve been on the slopes, a lesson might be in order. Private lessons are available, as well as small group lessons from many companies. Most lessons include gear rental, and some even include lift tickets, but you’ll want to make sure the tickets are included before you book – and tickets may only be valid for the duration of the lesson.

Torchlight Parade

Enjoy pictures with Santa, caroling throughout the village, and plenty more holiday cheer. The procession weaves a glowing trail down the mountain, followed by Santa and his elves. Warm up by a bonfire and set your eyes on the skies for a Christmas Eve fireworks display. The torchlight parade illuminates the night in Winter Park December 24 starting at 5:30 p.m. After the procession down the mountain, and inter-denominational service is held in the lower level of Balcony House in the main Winter Park Base area.
